Almond Products Bio — almond elegance
Come with us into our little world full of fine organic almonds and our delicious, creamy almond butter. They are made by our almond-farming colleague Riste and include the fine Texas and Ferragnes varieties — completely free from bitter almonds.
The people & the process
We have been working with almond farmer Riste and his family for four years. In the beautiful hills and warm climate around Kavadarci in Macedonia, they grow organic almonds with great care. For Riste, biodiversity and sustainability mean far more than just an organic label. With much dedication, he makes sure that nature can flourish between the almond trees: he plants flowering plants, lets sheep graze between the rows, and has even built his own worm composting system. Over the past two years, he has also tried growing organic peppers and organic tomatoes for us between the tree rows — so far with mixed results. But what hasn't worked yet still may in the future.
The almonds are cracked and refined into creamy almond butter by an organic cooperative — a community of local farmers who want to process their own harvest, as well as that of their fellow farmers, themselves.
Raw Almonds
Organic
Our fine, crunchy almonds are perfect as an afternoon snack, in your muesli, or on a school trip. They come from some of the best almond tree varieties, including Ferragnes and Texas.
Although our almonds are not all the same size as those from large plantations, the feedback from our customers is that they are much tastier than most almonds they have tried so far. Try them yourself and let us know what you think. We would love to hear your feedback.

An organic cooperative processes the almonds into fine, creamy almond butter. They roast them at low temperatures to preserve as many valuable nutrients, such as essential vitamins, as possible.
